WESTPORT - A presentation was held today by the Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce focusing on how businesses can prepare for future disasters.

Many businesses are still trying to recover from the effects of Hurricane Irene.

Experts were on hand to show businesses how they can operate without power and steps that can be taken to get back to business quicker.

The experts say that businesses that got back on their feet quicker tended to out-sell their competition and gain market share.
