Changes requested at Norwalk train station

NORWALK - State Sen. Bob Duff is trying to get the city of Norwalk to change parking polices at the South Norwalk train station.

Duff sent a letter yesterday to Mayor Dick Moccia and the Norwalk Parking Authority.

In it, he writes, "My suggestion would be to find a way to accommodate those overflow commuters by honoring their train station parking passes at the Webster Street lot. I'm sure you can make the logistics work to the benefit of everyone."

Duff says the current policies are counter-productive to the state's goal of promoting mass transportation.
