Charita Mack, of Bridgeport, allegedly steals car, drives off with kids in back seat

BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport woman is facing charges after she allegedly drove off with someone else's car and two children in the back seat.

Police arrested 23-year-old Charita Mack after the incident on Wednesday.

They say the father of the children was with a friend, and left his kids in the back seat of the car while he went to test drive another car. Police say when the friend got out of the car to use the restroom, Mack jumped in and drove off.

The father flagged down an officer who eventually pulled her over and arrested her.
