The Stamford woman who was brutally attacked by her friend's pet chimp is reportedly filing a claim that would allow her to sue the state

STAMFORD - The Stamford woman who was brutally attacked by her friend's pet chimp is reportedly filing a claim that would allow her to sue the state for $150 million.

The New York Daily News is reporting that Charla Nash claims officials knew the chimp was dangerous.

Nash had a face transplant last year after the animal ripped off her nose, lips, eyelids and hands in 2009.
