CHESHIRE - The sole survivor of the Cheshire home invasion, Dr. William Petit, was interviewed on ?The Oprah Winfrey Show? this afternoon.

Petit told Winfrey that although he has contemplated suicide he has chosen to live because he hopes to be reunited with his family in the afterlife.

Petit?s wife and two daughters were killed during the 2007 home invasion.

One of the men involved has been convicted and sentenced to death in the case. The other is set to go on trial early next year.
