CHESHIRE - The sole survivor of the deadly Cheshire home invasion is now engaged to be married.

A spokesman for Dr. William Petit says he proposed to Christine Paluf.

The two met while she was volunteering at events for the Petit Family Foundation.

Petit's wife and two daughters were killed during a home invasion in 2007.

The two convicted killers have both been sentenced to death.
