Cheshire woman accused in fatal DUI expected in court

Police say 18-year-old Bobby Weidig was walking with his brother along Litchfield Turnpike last Christmas when 60-year-old Barbara Ross struck him with her car.

CHESHIRE - The Cheshire woman who police say was driving drunk when she struck and killed an Amity High School graduate is due in court today. 

Police say 18-year-old Bobby Weidig was walking with his brother along Litchfield Turnpike last Christmas when 60-year-old Barbara Ross struck him with her car.

Ross is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and failing to drive in the proper lane.

She has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
