STAMFORD - The chimp that mauled a woman last week in Stamford was cremated Wednesday.All Pets Crematory confirmed that the chimp, named Travis, was cremated at its location in Stamford.The chimp left Charla Nash critically injured after an attack on Feb. 16. Nash was visiting her friend, Sandra Herold, who owned the chimp.Police have said the attack lasted about 12 minutes before they fatally shot the 200-pound chimp.Nash is currently being treated at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Nash's twin brother has been appointed as her temporary guardian.
