STAMFORD - A Stamford man is facing charges, accused of forging his mother's signature on dozens of checks.

Darien police say Christopher Pinto was already facing charges for writing checks to himself and his attorney for a total of $7,500.

During their investigation, police found the total was more than $25,000, split between 41 checks. Police added those new charges last week.
