GREENWICH - Police in Greenwich are looking for a man who stole collection money from a church there this weekend.

The monsignor of St. Catherine's of Sienna says a man walked in right off the street Sunday morning after Mass asking for financial help.

He says that man was told to wait to speak with a minister and that during that time, he stole a bag from an open safe with the day's collections inside.

The church would not say how much money was stolen.
