UNCASVILLE - For the sixth consecutive year, the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference held its state basketball championships at Mohegan Sun.

Thousands of people attended the CIAC championship Saturday night for Connecticut's version of March Madness.

Bridgeport Central beat Fairfield Prep with a score of 76-73 at Mohegan Sun Arena in the 2014 Class LL boys' basketball championship.

The win was Bridgeport Central's sixth state title.

In the girl's final, Lauralton captured its first basketball state title, beating
South Windsor with a score of 68-53.
