SHELTON - Those that know 15-year-old Kristjan Ndoj say they still can't believe he was shot over the weekend in Shelton.

The Shelton High School student remains in critical condition after being shot twice Saturday night.

Niko Thomopoulos says Ndoj is outgoing, family-oriented and nice to everyone. He says his friend is a good boxer and that he likes to play soccer.

Classmates say they never expected this to happen.

"Everyone was so down, knowing that someone from our school is like fighting death," says Thomopoulos. "It's very sad and I never expected anything like this to ever happen."
