NORWALK - Norwalk police say a shooting at Norwalk Hospital yesterday was not a random act, but retaliation related to several other crimes.

Investigators say four shots were fired outside of the emergency room and one hit a 22-year-old in the leg yesterday morning.

Police say about a dozen people know who's behind the shooting, but no one is cooperating with their investigation.

Community members, including Amos Brown Sr. whose son was shot and killed in Norwalk last year, say witnesses need to come forward.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Norwalk police at 203-854-3111 or on text tips can be submitted by typing "NPD" into the text field, followed by the message and sending it to CRIMES (274637)
