SOUTH NORWALK - Thousands of commuters found alternative ways home tonight as Metro-North worked to repair the track damaged in Friday's train derailment and collision.

Trains have been running between New York City and the South Norwalk train station, where buses have been helping commuters bypass shut-down train stations.

Connecticut residents described their commutes as inconvenient.

Gov. Dannel Malloy says Metro-North expects to resume normal New Haven line service in time for the Wednesday morning commute.
