EAST WINDSOR - (AP) - A Connecticut woman is facing chargesfor allegedly leaving her children in the car while she went BlackFriday bargain hunting.
Police say at about 1:45 a.m. today a shopper at the EastWindsor Walmart told officers at the store that two children hadbeen left in a parked car.
Police tell The Hartford Courant they found the 2-year-old girland 7-year-old boy sleeping in the back seat of a running, unlockedcar.
Devi Parakulam-Krishnamoo of Glastonbury told police she raninto the store briefly to give her husband his cell phone. Policesay the children were left alone for at least 30 minutes.
The 31-year-old Parakulam-Krishnamoo was charged with two countsof leaving a child unsupervised in a public place or motor vehicle,and released on $5,000 bail.
