NORWALK - The snow stopped falling in Connecticut yesterday, and plow drivers continued their work today, taking on ice and the harder-to-remove snow.

Cleanup crews got rid of most of the 6 to 8 inches that fell yesterday, and Sunday was spent salting streets and scraping away layers of ice and hard-packed snow from parking lots and roads.

Anthony Cossuto, of A.J.'s Landscaping in Norwalk, advises residents to start shoveling right away, as snow gets heavier as time passes and there's a bigger chance ice could build up too.
