MILFORD - As Hurricane Earl begins its trek along the eastern seaboard, Connecticut is preparing in case this storm or any future storms hit.

Today, Governor Jodi Rell held a conference call with municipal leaders from across the state to discuss preparations for the hurricane. Issues like emergency staffing and preparing tools like chainsaws and vehicles were discussed.

While the state is preparing, many say they are looking realistically at the storm and trying not to get worked up since its exact path isn?t yet known.
