MIDDLETOWN - State troopers were out with extra patrols for the long Fourth of July weekend.

Police say they made 63 DUI arrests

They also gave out more than 2,400 speeding tickets.

Another 500 drivers were cited for not wearing their seat belts.

Police say there were about 300 accidents on state highways.
