Connecticut tops the nation in fuel prices

NORWALK - Being number one isn?t always best.

According to a recent AAA survey, gas prices in Connecticut are now the highest in the country.

AAA says as gas prices across the nation hit the $4 mark, in Connecticut the average stands at $4.21.

Customers at an Exxon station in Norwalk say they?ve been forced to work more hours and are cutting corners any way they can.

?The gas wins, the gas wins,? says one disheartened customer at the gas station.

And fuel analysts say there is no end in site to the rising price of gas. They expect prices to hit $5 a gallon in the next few months.
