WESTPORT - Several bales of hay being used to buffer sound caught fire at a construction site in Westport yesterday.

Officials say a spark from a power tool hit the barrier, which included more than 100 bales of hay.

Firefighters say the dry conditions helped the fire spread quickly.

No one was hurt.
