GREENWICH - Convicted killer and Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel has lost his bid for a reduction in his prison sentence.

A three-judge panel rejected Skakel's request in a decision released today.

Skakel is serving 20 years to life for the murder of his teenage neighbor Martha Moxley in Greenwich in 1975.

The panel says there was nothing inappropriate about the sentence.
