Cop accused in fatal crash appears in court

NORWALK - The police officer involved in the Orange car crash that killed two teenagers made an appearance in court Tuesday morning.

Officer Jason Anderson did not enter a plea, but is expected to plead not guilty to charges of manslaughter and reckless driving. In court, the judge set another court date so that Anderson?s attorney can get a copy of the state police investigation report.

In June, Anderson?s police cruiser collided with another car killing 19-year-olds David Servin and Ashlie Krakowski. According to an arrest warrant, Anderson was driving at least 90 miles per hour at the time of the crash.

Anderson is due back in court on Jan. 13.
