BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport man faces multiple drug charges after police say they found close to two pounds of marijuana growing inside his apartment Monday.
Officers say they arrested Jamall Coleman, 33, after being called to his home on Lyon Terrace to investigate a break in. They say the search led them to a second-floor bedroom, which contained an elaborate hydroponics growing system.
According to police, they confiscated the equipment, several living plants and two pounds of dried marijuana leaves. Coleman was arrested and released on $25,000 bond.
Bridgeport police say they are still investigating the initial burglary that led them to the home.
