NORWALK - Court records show a Norwalk admitted to killing his ex-wife and her mother Monday.

At a hearing yesterday, a judge set Gilbert Orlando's bail at $2 million. Prosecutors said they believed he was a flight risk, as he isn't a U.S. citizen.

He's charged with murdering his ex-wife, Enid Dickens-Orlando, and her mother, Rita Knight, at their home on Couch Street.

The records say Orlando told police he attempted to enter the house the night before, but couldn't get in. After sleeping in a friend's car, he said he returned to his ex-wife's house and shot the women.

He's due back in court June 24.
