BRIDGEPORT - The Bridgeport man who pleaded guilty to killing a graduate student is scheduled to be sentenced today.

Court records show Courtney Burden admitted to shooting Moin Hassan during an attempted robbery in September of 2012.

Hassan was a graduate student at the University of Bridgeport.

Burden faces up to 40 years in prison.
