Cows captured after escaping in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police say they have captured two cows that were running wild this afternoon.

Officers tell us animal control caught the animals on Fairfield Woods Road around 2 p.m. and brought them back to their home on Stillson Road.

The owner says it was a mother and her male calf that escaped from the pen.
