Crews respond to house fire in Wilton

WILTON - Multiple fire stations responded to a house fire on Linden Tree Road in Wilton Saturday morning.

Witnesses say they heard a loud boom at 211 Linden Tree Road at around 11 a.m. The residents of the home were not inside at the time of the incident.

Firefighters came from Weston, Ridgefield, New Canaan – even as far away as Westport and Vista, New York – in an effort to fight the fire and provide to vital resources.

Neighbors say the residents on the block are close-knit and were upset to see the home go up in flames.

Firefighters say a nearby lake provided plenty of extra water.

There were no injuries.
