Crews to remove tank following Stamford house explosion

STAMFORD - Officials say they are going to dig up the propane tank that is under home that exploded in Stamford this week..

It happened Tuesday on Webbs Hill Road.

Investigators believe a propane buildup ignited, leveling the 6,000-square-foot home.

Officials say they have completed the investigation and did not find any major problems with the gas lines leading to and from the house.
