MILFORD - A lawyer for the family of one of the two teens killed in a crash with a Milford police officer is asking for a criminal investigation into the deletion of dash cam tapes, according to the New Haven Register.
Last week, the attorney for the family of one of the teens killed and Police Chief Keith Mello met in Hartford before the Freedom of Information Commission.
The chief testified that 2,000 on-camera police calls were deleted by mistake.
Video from the 2009 crash that killed the teens was not deleted.
