CT couples prepare for 11-11-11 weddings tomorrow

NORWALK - Many couples across the state have planned weddings for tomorrow, saying they hope the date "11-11-11" will bring them good luck.

In Greenwich, bride-to-be Denise Longo says at least a dozen couples in the area will tie the knot tomorrow, and that she truly believes the date will give her years of wedded bliss. "So many people have said numerology-wise, there's something special about 11," Longo says. Tomorrow will be the second-to-last sequential date of the century, with the other coming on Dec. 12 of next year.
