NORWALK - A new report finds foreclosure filings in Connecticut leveled off in October.

Realty Trac says there were 2,077 foreclosure filings last month, just two more than in September.

The survey says those numbers are probably related to last month's the foreclosure freeze rather than a significant improvement in the market.

In Fairfield County, 561 homes were foreclosed on last month.
