CT man gets 7 years in prison for school shooting plot

The Republican-American newspaper reports that 21-year-old Peter Thulin, of Torrington, wanted to copy the 1999 Columbine High School shooting in Colorado, along with 18-year old Natalie Carpenter who received a seven-year sentence earlier this year.

NORWALK - A Connecticut man is reportedly headed to prison for seven years for his role in a 2014 plot to shoot and blow up two schools in Danbury and Stratford.

The Republican-American newspaper reports that 21-year-old Peter Thulin, of Torrington, wanted to copy the 1999 Columbine High School shooting in Colorado, along with 18-year old Natalie Carpenter who received a seven-year sentence earlier this year.

The pair reportedly was living at a group home when another resident learned of their plan and notified authorities.
