WASHINGTON, D.C. - A Connecticut rabbi will give the opening prayer today before a joint meeting of Congress today.
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will speak at the session.
Congressman Jim Himes has invited Jeremy Wierderhorn from the Conservative Synagogue of Westport, Weston and Wilton to give the opening prayer.
Netanyahu will talk about his plan to bring peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
However, his speech won't include Israel returning to its borders before the Six Day War.
