IRVINGTON, NY - The Milford teen accused of crashing into a Westchester cop car that put an officer in critical condition is now facing serious charges.

Brian Sabia, 16, was charged with first-degree assault and reckless endangerment for allegedly crashing into the cruiser driven by Irvington police officer Luigi Osso.

The crash happened Wednesday night in the Westchester town.

Police say the teen had stolen the car from a Milford dealership, according to the New Haven Register.

Sabia is set to be in court May 3.
