Nina Daniel beat incumbent Gayle Weinstein for the First Selectman's seat.

WESTON - Nina Daniel has been elected as the next first selectwoman in Weston.

The Republican beat incumbent Gayle Weinstein in Tuesday night's election. 

Weinstein had held the job for three terms.

Daniel has lived in Weston for more than 50 years and her father previously served as first selectman.
