Daniel Buzzeo sentenced in Stamford murder-for-hire plot

A Stamford man will spend the next 15 years in prison for trying to have his wife killed. A judge sentenced Daniel Buzzeo, 37, today.

STAMFORD - A Stamford man will spend the next 15 years in prison for trying to have his wife killed.

A judge sentenced Daniel Buzzeo, 37, today.

Buzzeo was convicted in October for trying to hire a hit man to murder his wife because they were going through a heated divorce.

Police say they caught him in a sting operation in 2011.
