STAMFORD - Democratic Stamford mayoral candidate David Martin says he's approaching the results of this race with cautious optimism.
This attitude is likely because Martin was defeated back in 2009 by current Mayor Mike Pavia.
The city's registrar of voters says early voter turnout was dramatically down - about 15 percent less than 2009.
