STAMFORD - Bright Horizon's Day Care in Stamford is open Friday after it was closed Thursday due to a minivan crashing through the building.

Police say the driver of the minivan accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes when picking up her child Wednesday afternoon.

The day care manager says a barrier will be placed between the parking lot and the building.
