TRUMBULL - Animal Control in Trumbull says there has been multiple incidents of dead rabbits in Twin Brooks Park since Friday.

Over the weekend, it says it found 16 rabbits, 13 of which were dead. The other three are barely hanging on and probably won't survive, according to the vet who took them in.

Animal Control says their sizes indicate they were raised for meat and were living in deplorable conditions.

Authorities are still searching for who may have killed the rabbits.
