NORWALK - The deadline to register to vote in next week's midterm elections has passed.

Potential voters were given until 8 p.m. tonight to submit registration forms to their local city or town halls.

Officials in Norwalk say they saw a steady stream of new voters over the last few days.

United States Marine Max Bernstein says he feels it's important to vote because it is his civic duty to do so.
