STAMFORD - Stamford has reached an agreement to clean up a park some believe is contaminating nearby wells.

Scofieldtown Park, which was a former landfill, was closed more than a year ago over concerns of toxic contamination.

Mayor Mike Pavia says the city and the state reached a deal that could include removing the top layer of soil from the land.

Neighbors tell us they're concerned that the clean up won't remove all of the contaminants.
