CHESHIRE - Jurors will start hearing evidence today on whether convicted murderer Steven Hayes should receive the death penalty.

Hayes was convicted earlier this month in a deadly home invasion that killed a mother and her two daughters.

Connecticut has only executed one person since 1960.
