Decision on Newtown 911 tapes could come today

NEWTOWN - The Connecticut Freedom of Information Commission is expected to decide today if 911 calls from the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting should be released be to the public.

Several media outlets have requested a copy of the 911 calls

Authorities say releasing the tapes would jeopardize their investigation.

A total of 26 educators and students were killed in the Newtown massacre.
