BRIDGEPORT - The defense will start its case this week in the second murder trial of a Bridgeport man already on death row.
Last week, Russell Peeler listened to testimony from the mother of his three children.
Peeler is accused of shooting rival drug dealer Rudolph Snead to death in a barber shop in 1998.

He was convicted and sentenced to death for ordering the murder of a witness to that crime, 8-year-old B.J. Brown, as well as Brown's mother, Karen Clarke.
