CHESHIRE - Jury deliberations are expected to begin today in the second Cheshire home invasion case.

In closing arguments yesterday, defense attorneys for Joshua Komisarjevsky blamed his co-defendant, Stephen Hayes, for the murders of Jennifer Hawke Petit and her two daughters.

Prosecutors say Komisarjevsky was the mastermind who was not motivated by greed but by an interest in the youngest daughter whom he spotted earlier at a local supermarket.

He is charged with sexually assaulting the 11-year-old.

Komisarjevsky faces the death penalty if convicted of the three murders.
