FAIRFIELD - A jury continued to deliberate the fate of the man who killed a couple inside its Fairfield jewelry store six years ago today.
The same 12 men and women who convicted Christopher DiMeo are still deciding if he should be put to death or get life in prison for murdering Kim and Tim Donnelly back in 2005.
Officials say the arguing between jurors got so heated today that a court marshal had to knock on the door to quiet them down.
Jurors also sent a note to the judge today indicating that they have come to a unanimous vote on one of the prosecution's two aggravating factors and are apparently ready to move on to the second phase of deliberations.
