DMV reopens after computer upgrades

Most services at DMV offices across the state were not available last week while the computer systems were upgraded to allow online transactions.

WETHERSFIELD - Officials with Connecticut's Department of Motor Vehicles say they completed a computer upgrade three days early.

Most services at DMV offices across the state were not available last week while the computer systems were upgraded to allow online transactions.

Officials say because the transition went so smoothly, online services including registration and license plate orders can now be done online.
