WILTON - A donation box was allegedly stolen from the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wilton.

Father Reginald Norman says that he believes someone walked into the Danbury Road church on Friday and took the box. It contained about $100.

The funds were intended to be used on candles, with the remaining money going toward charity.

Police say they are investigating the matter and have a person of interest.

Norman says it will cost about $150 to buy a replacement box.
