BRIDGEPORT - Dozens of people were evacuated and two were sent to the hospital after a fire broke out at an apartment complex in Bridgeport today.

It happened at 50 Freemont St. around 10:30 a.m.

Officials say the fire was mostly contained to a third-floor apartment, where it appears to have started.

Police say the injuries were not life-threatening.
