FAIRFIELD - A driver has been arrested after crashing a car into a Fairfield home early this morning.

The crash happened just after 1:30 a.m. on Bronson Road, close to the exit 20 off-ramp of southbound I-95.

Police say the car hit the home’s porch and caused minor damage to the house.

The driver was not hurt in the crash but failed a field sobriety test, according to police.
